Winners of the 2025 English Essay Awards will read from their writing on June 5 at 1:30pm in The Little Theater. Winning essays are selected annually by faculty of the É«ÖÐÉ« English department who each may nominate up to three student papers. Total prize money given out this year in the categories of narrative essay and research essay is $3000.
There are four narrative essays that (1) honor the Klallam language, (2) describe living on the streets of Seattle, (3) joke about learning to ride a motorcycle, and (4) ponder hiking in the local woods.
